Vertical Suspended Pump (VS2)
Structural Characteristics
- Hydraulic Model: Double-suction/mixed-flow impeller design, optimized for high-flow, high-head applications;
- Casing Structure: Symmetrical design with dual flow passages and space guide vanes, balancing most of the axial forces.
- Shaft Support System: Multi-point support; clearances between guide bearings comply with API610 standards; rolling bearings are lubricated either with grease or oil. The submerged section features self-flushing sliding bearings, and depending on the media conditions, protective shaft sleeves can also be used, along with externally supplied flushing water for lubrication.
- Sealing Systems: Depending on operating conditions, either packing seals or mechanical seals can be used; the seal chamber design complies with API682 standards. Single and double cartridge seals are available, and for special applications, tandem mechanical seals can also be employed.
