Sinofluid® electric submersible pump (ESP) is an efficient artificial lifting device that directly connects a long shaft multi-stage centrifugal pump to a downhole motor and is driven by a surface power source through a dedicated cable. Unit Assembly

Downhole components: submersible pump, separator, protector, submersible motor, MLE, etc;
Ground equipment: step-down transformer, control cabinet, variable-frequency drive,  etc;
Auxiliary equipment: centralizer, temperature and pressure measuring device, check valve, drain valve, junction box, etc;
 

 

Structural Characteristics

  • Multiple structural designs available: floating impeller design, bag-type protector design, and abrasion-resistant design; Adopting hard alloy bearings with strong sand resistance, suitable for various well conditions;
  • The impeller and diffuser are all made from corrosion-resistant materials; optional spray coatings are available to enhance corrosion and erosion resistance; each stage is equipped with wear-resistant pads.
  • Wide-channel impeller designed for pumping high-viscosity liquids.
  • Available corrosion-resistant materials or specialized spray coatings;

Working Condition

  • Environmental medium temperature: ≤150°C; Wellbore temperature: 50~180°C. For temperatures below 90°C, NBR is typically used for O-rings, while phenolic laminated glass cloth pads are commonly employed as thrust washers on the impeller. For wellbores operating above 90°C, FKM O-rings are recommended (up to 170°C), and F4 polystyrene thrust washers are generally chosen for the impeller (up to 150°C).
  • Gas Content: when operating in an oil well, submersible pumps are completely immersed in the well fluid. Oil wells often contain various types of free gas, which can significantly impact the performance characteristics of submersible pumps. At certain levels, this free gas can lead to gas locking—a condition where gas buildup disrupts the pump's operation, severely affecting the normal functioning of the submersible electric pump. This may cause the motor load to fluctuate dramatically or even unload entirely. To mitigate these issues, an oil-gas separator can be installed beneath the submersible pump.
  • Well fluid sand content: ≤0.05%;
  • Applicable medium: oil-water or mixture of oil, gas, and water
  • Well fluid viscosity: ≤7 mm2/s;
